Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and DockDates LLC. By creating an account or using DockDates, you agree to them.

Who can join

• You must be 21 or older.
• You must give honest information about yourself, and use photos of yourself.
• You may have one account.
• You cannot use DockDates if you have been convicted of a violent crime or are required to register as a sex offender.

How to behave

Be respectful. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or pressure anyone, or send unwanted sexual content.
• Pretend to be someone else, or share another person's private information.
• Post nudity, explicit content, violence, hate, or anything illegal.
• Use DockDates to sell things, recruit, scam, or promote other services.
• Try to break, copy, or misuse the app.

We may remove content, limit features, or close accounts that break these rules. You can report or block anyone in the app.

Meeting people in person

DockDates helps people connect, but we do not run background checks and cannot guarantee who anyone is. Use good judgment: meet in a public place, tell a friend your plans, and be extra careful on or near the water. You are responsible for your own safety. The boat badge is based on what members tell us, and we do not verify it.

Premium

Some features are part of an optional paid subscription. Prices, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are described when you subscribe.

The Cove and Cove Hosts

The Cove lists local businesses and offers from Cove Hosts. They are independent from DockDates. We are not responsible for their products, services, or deals.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give DockDates permission to display and store it so the app can work. You promise you have the right to share it.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in the app. We can also suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

Disclaimers and limits

DockDates is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what members do, for meetings between members, or for losses from using the app. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we will let you know in the app or by email. Using DockDates after that means you accept the updated Terms.
